About the weblog

A stream-of-consciousness affair, which I try to keep interesting. As family and friends are my audience, pictures of our daughter too. I know that a more single-focus theme is easier for readers who may have dissimilar interests, but for now the traffic just doesn’t warrant that much effort.The meaning of ‘Fnord’ is explained on this post.

I’m a computer engineer. My day job involves software and hardware, large-scale data streaming systems, data acquisition, and all sorts of fun stuff.I have the usual set of nerdly pointless obsessions and pseudo-researchinterests; a partial list would be
